Paul Magrs

Paul Magrs lives and writes in Manchester. In a twenty year writing career he has published a number of novels in a variety of genres, including books about transtemporal adventuress IRIS WILDTHYME and also the BRENDA AND EFFIE MYSTERIES, which are about the Bride of Frankenstein running a B&B in the seaside town of Whitby, which are currently being adapted for television.
Paul has also written fiction for kids and young adults, including STRANGE BOY, EXCHANGE and most recently, his Lora trilogy, LOST ON MARS, THE MARTIAN GIRL and THE HEART OF MARS (Firefly Press) Over the years he has many times written 'official' DOCTOR WHO books, radio dramas, audio series and a huge range of spin offs, as well as adapted others' and penned his own original work for radio broadcast and the audio original market.

Paul is also the author of a beloved cat memoir: THE STORY OF FESTER CAT (Berkley). Paul has taught Creative Writing at both the University of East Anglia and Manchester Metropolitan University, and is extensively published on Creative Writing too.
